Pisces Full Moon Partial Lunar Eclipse August 27, 2026 10:18 PM MDT August 28, 2026 12:18 AM EDT
The Pisces/Virgo Lunar eclipse at 4° occurs when the Earth moves directly between the Sun and Moon blocking the Sun's light and casting a shadow over the face of the moon.
We had a South Node total Solar eclipse on August 12th at 20° Leo, which indicated what it is we need to let go of.
This eclipse indicates what area we are now stepping into.
Pisces, a water sign is characteristic of spiritual development or depth, dreams, illusion, intuition and surrender.
Virgo, an Earth sign characterized by practical grounding, healing, analyzing and organization is holding the Sun during this Full Moon.
Eclipses are cosmic turning points and carry the karmic history of the past 18 month and 9 to 18 year cycles.
March 14, 2025 we had a total lunar eclipse at 23° Virgo. This would have brought up themes of healing (karma), illness (shadow) and practicality. Seeing things for what they were not your dreams and fantasies.
Reflecting back what issues came up for you then, to face as karmic shifting points of awareness?
Between 2006-2007 was the last time we had a North Node eclipse in Pisces. The theme would have been dreams, illusion, romance, spiritual quest, fantasies and learning about your intuition.
What was happening at that time in your life that revealed something about yourself that you need to look at and let go of?
This is karmic shadow work. Looking at the issues of our personality and associated karma is an opportunity to heal and grow in consciousness.
It is helpful to know the house these cosmic events fall in your natal chart.
You can find many places on line for free where you can get your birth chart. All you need is the date, time and location (city, state, country) of your birth.
The houses are numbered from 1-12 and are shown on the chart going in a counter clockwise direction.
Here is a simple list of the themes of the houses. This will help you focus on the area in your life this transformation is taking place.
House Meaning
1st House Self
2nd House Values
3rd House Communication
4th House Home & Family
5th. House Creativity & Fun
6th House Health & Routine
7th House Relationships
8th House Transformation
9th House Higher Learning
10th House Career
11th House Community/Leadership
12th House Soul, Karma & the Unconscious
Finding in your birth chart, the house where Pisces is located then looking directly across the wheel and locating the house where Virgo is located will give you the themes for your personal transformation and soul growth.
For example: I have Pisces in the 11th house of community/leadership and Virgo in the 5th house if creativity and fun.
I have no planets in either house. This eclipse is showing me that facing and letting go of my dreamy illusions of my life allows me to embrace my role as a leader in my community through having fun using my creativity to do so.
There have been many issues associated with this theme. As I look back over the past 18-20 years I can see the development of my consciousness so that I am able to embrace this transformation.
September 10th-11th we have a cosmic reset as we prepare for the Fall Equinox.
Be kind to yourself and one another!
Blessings on your journey!
